Fishing at Gormley's Lac Seul, Ear Falls

Ontario July 2006

Mitch, Dad and I spent a week at Phil and Shirley's cabin on Lac Seul in mid July.  The walleye fishing was great, the northerns were very hard come by.  Phil and Shirley were great hosts and we had an outstanding time.  We got a chance to meeting the new neighbors and there dogs.  Karen the lady next door even baked us a fresh (just picked blueberry pie).  The dogs next door came over every morning to get Mitch out of bed to play.

Dad did the best on Walleye of any of us but I caught the biggest and I think Mitch's big one was second.

Thank you Phil and Shirley!

Mitch with a couple more Northern.  As you can see decent Northern were hard to come by Dad's big walleye about 24.5"
Fish to fill out our limits.  The NICE walleye on the right is mine.  I let a 26.5" go earlier in the trip, this one came home. Mitch fighting with a walleye and grandpa ready to net it.  In the back ground is Mitch's favorite outdoor restroom.
Dad with another nice walleye.  One day I'm pretty sure he caught at least 75 fish. Mitch with his big walleye.
